
LUCERO MENDIZÁBAL
Spanish Professor
Lucero is a communicologist at heart and has a master’s degree in Rural Development. She has two postgraduate degrees, one in Education for Peace and Conflict Resolution and another in Mental Health in Situation of Political Violence and Catastrophes. She has worked as an educational facilitator for twenty years, accompanying vulnerable communities, such as: women, children, indigenous and rural populations, etc. Lucero has also worked closely with the Theater of the Oppressed method for quite some time. She loves to travel, eat, dance, cook, ride her bike and go to the ocean as much as she can. Recently she also started a passion project where she makes, produces and sells artisanal chocolates. She loves to teach Spanish in Habla and talk about Mexico, especially its food.
