Born in Mexico City, Alilán spent her childhood between the beaches of Mexico and the Andes mountain range in Santiago, Chile. Being both Chilean and Mexican, she has always felt a special interest in language as a form of human connection, particularly in literature. She currently holds a degree in Latin American Literature from the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán, which eventually led her to Habla, where she teaches Spanish and English to people of all ages. This role allows her to share her passion for grammar, mythology, and cultural exchange.
