Diane Grondin
English Professor
Born in the US, her family migrated to Quebec where she learned French and obtained her diploma from the Universite de Sherbrooke. She made a career as an ESL teacher helping people from all over the world integrate to an English speaking environment. Her curiosity and enthusiasm for people were the keys for further studies and development of conversational methods of her own. She published two ESL student books for McGraw Hill Education, still in circulation today.
Diane is a world traveler that has found a home in Mexico since 2001, living and teaching in different states such as Michoacán, Oaxaca, Mexico City, and finally Mérida. She is a constant learner and researcher. She loves people, nature, and backgammon.
