Estela was born in Campeche. She's a performing artist, storyteller, and Spanish language professor, passionate about traveling, dancing, gardening, listening to music, and engaging in outdoor activities. Since she was a child, she has been in contact with the arts and its diverse manifestations; which eventually led her to earn a bachelor's degree in theater, earning an Honorific Mention for her thesis on artistic research. She is a proud member of the Habla community, where she currently facilitates powerful learning experiences by applying her theater background. What she loves most about being part of Habla is making connections between culture and language within one's stories.
