Lucero Mendizábal

Spanish Professor


Lucero is a communicologist at heart and has a master’s degree in Rural Development. She has two postgraduate degrees, one in Education for Peace and Conflict Resolution and another in Mental Health related to areas of trauma. She has worked as an educational facilitator for twenty years, accompanying vulnerable communities, such as: women, children, indigenous, young people, migrants and rural populations. Her passion project is making and selling artisanal chocolates. Lucero has also worked closely with the Theater of the Oppressed methodology from Brazil. She loves to travel, eat, dance, cook, ride her bike and go to the ocean as much as she can. She loves to teach Spanish at Habla and talk about Mexico, especially its food.
